The Royal Court Games Playroom is an interactive activity enjoyed with volunteers “Goong-ee Doong-ees.” Located at Hamnyeongjeon Hall of Deoksugung Palace and Gyeongchunjeon Hall of Changgyeonggung Palace, 40 Goong-ee Doong-ees are ready between 10 am and 5 pm, to enjoy the event with you!

So many activities await. “Beat the Goong-ee Doong-ee!” is a series of easy games of gonggi nori (pebble game), jegi chagi (Korean hacky sack), and ddakji chigi (Korean paper pog game). “Palace Quiz” asks you about history, folktales, and palace-related questions. “Palace life shots” are taken at different parts of the palaces by Goong-ee Doong-ees for you to remember the K-Royal Culture Festival for a long time!

“Genre Painting for All,” an online, interactive Joseon genre painting program, is available on site! Create your own genre painting character, color the background, scene, and bring it to life with instant printing!
